Exactly what I was referring to the other day. This high school sports debate amongst adults is crazy. Seeing my daughter so unhappy in basketball did it for me. Sportsman knows I have a legitimate gripe.
Is it just me or is this forum full of some morons. I mean you have some people that make absolutely no since in their posting, while you have others that are so bias to their team they are very annoying to talk too. If your so single minded about your own team, that the only time you open your mouth is when it has to do with your team, then I personally could care less what you have to say. Usually these people are the ones that take this forum way to serious and do not allow others to express their opinions. It just gets old seeing people who are so bias and close minded that it`s rediculous.
Few threads back Ironlung was cracking on Bama. I'm as big a bama fan as there is but I mean I know it`s all in clean fun I don`t get on here and make an absolute idiot of myself and take that stuff serious. I also don`t talk about Bama or a certain LPD team too awful much because I like to be more knowledgable about all teams in the LPD and College ball, rather than devoting my life to defending 1 team till death. I mean I could post every single thing that goes on in my preferred school, but honestly I know 98% of forum members don`t want to here it.

We all have our bias, its just some people let it control them, some don't.
I'm a Clintwood fan, but if someone wants to question or insult them, that's their right. I'll defend it if I disagree and try to provide facts/insights but when it comes down to it, you very seldom can change a persons mind.

I have yet to see many people just stop in the middle of an argument on here and say you're right I surrender [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] What gets me is people arguing over someone else`s predictions or something of that sort [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] because someone predicted a certain team to be better than a posters team then it`s all over we have a forum fight [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
If you wanna predict Clintwood middle of pack this year or worse, I'll not argue. I have hope for mid-pack, maybe a lot of improvement and surprising someone but heck if you wanna predict them dead last, I may make my comments but if you wanna be wrong, so be it [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
